Services Hospital to assist flood victims




LAHORE: Services Hospital Lahore Medical Superintend Dr Muhammad Javed has assured that the hospital administration will continue assistance for the flood affected until their rehabilitation and complete elimination of diseases from the flood-hit areas.
He said this while presiding an administrative meeting of the Services Hospital on Sunday.
He said the hospital dispatched about two dozens medical teams to flood-hit districts to implement Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s task for the rehabilitation of the flood victims
Dr Javed said that the medical teams are working according to the CM’s mission to prevent spread of diseases in the flood-affected areas. He pledged that the doctors would not leave the nation alone at this critical time.
He said that the medical teams busy in their work without any biasness and hoped that the doctors and paramedical staff would succeed in world and God would forgive them for their services of miserable people. app


Maho Hospital’s medical team leaves for Jampur


LAHORE: The Mayo Hospital has sent a medical team consisting of twelve doctors to THQ hospital Jampur for providing medical relief to flood-victims people.
Mayo Hospital Medical Superintendent Zahid Pervaiz saw the teams off on Sunday.
Talking to APP before the departure, the MS said that team included doctors from departments of medicine, surgery, eye, orthopaedics, gynaecology and paeds and would provide medical facilities to flood affectees.
He said that since the start of ravages of the flood, the Mayo Hospital had sent more than 20 teams to provide healthcare services to distressed humanity in flood-stricken areas. 
"The process of sending medical teams would continue until the rehabilitation of all affectees" he said.
He said that the role of doctors of Mayo Hospital in providing medical assistance to flood victims was laudable. app
